Welcome to Science, Technology, and Society! This 3-unit course explores the dynamic interplay between scientific advancements, emerging technologies, and the human experience. Throughout the term, we will focus on evaluating the key factors that drive technological and scientific progress, examining their impacts through both global and Philippine contexts.

Science and technology do not exist in a vacuum—they shape and are shaped by the societies that create them. This course is designed to help you understand these complex relationships and equip you with the tools to develop creative, practical solutions to modern challenges. Design approaches will be an integral part of your learning, guiding you from abstract concepts to real-world application.
